ADJECTIVES FOLLOWED BY PREPOSITIONS ON / OF

ADJECTIVES FOLLOWED BY PREPOSITION “ON”

The adjectives are used to follow by preposition “on” when we want to indicate

the state of something and we use with the following specific adjectives.

The adjectives are used to follow by preposition “of” when we want to indicate

belonging to, relating to, or connected; we use this preposition with the following

specific adjectives.

fond, proud, ashamed, jealous, envious

suspicious, critical, tolerant afraid, frightened, terrified,

scared aware, conscious capable, incapable
