ADJECTIVE CLAUSES
DEFINITION OF CLAUSE
A group of words that contain both a subject and a verb
Pg. 440 #1-10

Independent—can stand alone as a complete thought
Dependent/subordinate—cannot stand alone as a sentence because it fails to express a complete thought

hair
Adj—a steel bridge Adj. phrase—a bridge of steel Adj clause—a bridge that is made of steel
ADJECTIVE CLAUSE—SUBORDINATE CLAUSE THAT MODIFIES NOUNS/PRONOUNS
