Adding a Co-Planner to an Annual Performance Reviewemployees are reviewed by their current manager however, if someone has recently transferred (within 90 days), a previous manager can be added as a co-planner. when co-Planning takes place, both the current manager and co-planner manager can provide ratings and comments for each competency. comments from both managers will be shown on the final review.

while the review is ‘in progress’ only the last rating given (by either party) will show as the final rating.

The current manager has the final approval of all ratings and comments and is responsible for delivering the face to face and submitting the review.

1. Login to your account on the LMS. Refer to the Accessing Performance Review Tasks handbook for steps.

2. On the LMS home page, click the Performance tab.

3. When the Performance Reviews Task page appears, click Manager Review of (Direct Report’s Name).

4. On the Manager Review page click the Options drop down, then click Add Co-Planners.

5. In the Add Co-Planners box, click the Search for users button.

6. In the Select a user box, type in the search criteria. You can search for by typing any combination of keywords; name, position, department, or store number can all be used. Click Search.

7. When the search results appear, click the name of the person you want to choose as a co-planner.

8. The co-planner’s name will appear in the Add Co-planner box. Click Save.

9. An email will be sent to the co-planner’s personal work email ([email protected]). The task will also appear in the co-planner’s PR Task list.

ņ Even though you have “handed off” the PR to the co-planner, you are still responsible for making sure the review is completed on time. The co-planner should never submit the review. As a co-planner, always click Save and Continue while in the review. Click Save and Exit when finished.

Notes for the Co-Planner and Manager ` Once the co-planner has saved the review, the current manager will be able to view

the co-planner’s suggested ratings through the marked radio button.

` The manager can override any of the suggested ratings by the co-planner by selecting a different radio button.

� The final rating belongs to the current manager. Co-planner ratings will not be identified on the final review.

` The pre-delivery comment box will show both the co-planner’s and current Manager’s comments.
