• Serve DC manages the AmeriCorps State national service program that helps initiate ongoing service opportunities to address and solve community needs, especially when communities are in a critical state.

• Along with the AmeriCorps, Serve DC administers federal Corporation for National and Community Service funds through the DC Commission on National and Community Service.

• They also help to coordinate several national service acts in the District of Columbia.
