Meet the scientifc accident that could change the worldLast year, researchers at UCLA made a fantastic discovery.

A team of scientists led by chemist Richard Kaner had just finished devis-

ing an efficient method for producing high-quality sheets of the Nobel-

prize winning super material known as grapheme - with a consumer-grade

    DVD drive.

That was groundbreaking in and of itself, but the real surprise came when

Maher El-Kady, a researcher in Kaner's lab, wired a small square of their

hight quality carbon sheets up to a lightbulb. Then something incrediblehappened. They just have discovered its supercapacitor properties.

Kaner and El-Kady had stumbled upon an energy storage medium with revolutionary potential. Imagine

filling your smart phone with a long-lasting charge in just a couple seconds, or an electric car in a minute.

Armenians face a new kind of

    challenge that threatens their work

of art, culture, and heritage. This

threat is the anachronism of the

    Armenian cultural and historical

values and we must be careful and

    aware about it. Anachronism

    means that something or someone

that is not in its correct historical or

    chronological time.

    The British Museum is misinform-

    ing visitors about some displayed

    artifacts and claiming they origi-

nated from Ancient Turkey. Actually, it is the artifacts of the Armenian cultural heritage

from the period of the Kingdom of Urartu. The museum prescribes the artifacts dating back

to the 9th to 6th century BC to Ancient Turkey, while copper and bronze age to Pre -

Historic Turkey. Since Turkey as a country or its people did not exist prior to the 15th cen-

tury AD, when writing or speaking about ancient times, the terminology Ancient Turkey isincorrect.

The Middle East keeper of the British Museum accepts the terminology and justifies it

that their aim is to make the museum signs simple and avoid terms that would not be obvi-

ous to non-English speakers. He then adds, When borders or country titles change we will

change accordingly." This explanation is not objective, since there are rooms entitled as

Mesopotamia and Ancient Levant. If the statement were true then the above mentioned

rooms should have been called Ancient Iraq and Ancient Syria. As an educational institution

the role of the museum is to educate their visitors about the true origin of art and culture

    and their creators.

By falsifying the history and misleading the visitors, the British Museum is losing credibil-

ity as an institution that conserves exhibits of historical importance. This is unacceptable,

therefore, we must demand the truth and justice to be restored and the misrepresentationof Armenian Heritage as "Ancient Turkey" to be stopped.

The Anachronism of the Armenian Heritage

Healthier body means a happier life

Despite the fact that water is something that has no taste, we still love it!

Who doesnt relish the feeling of a cool drink of water on a sweltering hot

    day?

Approximately 70% of our bodys mass is made of water and according to a

number of doctors, drinking a total of eight glasses of water a day fulfils thenecessary requirement of this liquid our body demands. So here are some

advantages of water that can surely help you in living a healthy life.

    1) Water is the only liquid on Earth that safely reduces weight. It re-

moves the by-products of fat and keeps you fresh and healthy.

Drinking water regularly, suppresses your appetite to a great ex-

tent and limits your food intake..

    2) Do you want to look younger? Problem solved! Just drink lots of water every day! Water

is a perfect replacement for your expensive ageing treatments.

    3) Water removes toxins and most of the waste products from our body contributing to a

healthy quality of life. If our body lacks water then our heart has to make an extra ef-

fort to pump fresh oxygenated blood to our organs causing severe health issues.

    4) Research suggests that drinking substantial amounts of water is likely to reduce the risks

of bladder and colon cancer. This is because water has the ability to dilute the concen-

tration of cancer-causing agents in the urine and reduce the time they take to come in

    contact with the bladder lining.
