Could this be for you?

The Acts 6 :4 Team Vision

On the ground

>> Do you love Muslims and have a

sense o calling to them?

>> Do you have a desire to grow in

intercession and worship?

>> Would you like some hands on

experience prior to committing

long term?

>> Are you willing to serve in a whole

host o not so interesting ways?!

I so, then read on…

Interns will come and be a part o

the Acts 6:4 Team, based in a Middle

Eastern city, or 5 months. They will

participate in the team’s day-to-day

activities, as well as receiving some

specic opportunities or mentoring

and training. The key components o

the programme are outlined below.

Prayer roomApproximately 10 hours/week will

be spent in the prayer room (some

hours individually, others corporately)

worshipping and interceding on behalf

of the country and the Muslim world.

Corporate prayer

We meet regularly as a team for times

of worship, prayer and intercession.

You will help lead these and other

prayer gatherings, both large and

small, locally and further aeld.

Worship training (optional)If you have, or would like to develop,

musical skills then there is the option

to have music lessons and to gainexperience in leading worship.

Prayer trips / eventsAs part of your programme you will go

on at least one trip outside the country,

either to a Muslim world focussed

prayer gathering or on a prayer trip to

another Muslim country.

Rootedness in the landWe believe that God has called us to be

a church planting team that specialises

in prayer, but has its feet rmly planted

in the land. Some of your time will

therefore be invested into learning

Arabic, making friends with Muslims

and sensitively sharing your faith with

them, and seeking to love and bless

the country in every way possible.

Serving the wider ministry

As a team, we are involved in various

initiatives to train, equip, and igniteothers for prayer across the Muslim

world. We do this through many

avenues, including conferences and

hosting other teams. Interns will be

involved in facilitating these activities

through helping with administrative

work (e.g. spreadsheets, nances,

logistics, communications) and

physical work (e.g. setting up stages,

managing sound systems, mopping

oors, preparing guest rooms).

A passion for intercession and worship

is one of those things that’s generally

caught not taught. Reading stacks

of books and listening to hours of

teaching might help, but you only really

get it by doing it and being around

others who are also doing it. This is the

premise behind the Acts 6:4 Internship.

We want to give people who feel

called to the Muslim world the chance

to come and catch a heart for prayer

through doing it in an environment

of prayer situated within the Muslim

world. Some may then decide to stay

on with us, but we hope that most will

be sent out across the Muslim world

for the long term with that re already

ignited so they can pass it on.

Developing prayer leadership

for the Muslim world, from

inside the Muslim world.

The ‘Acts 6:4 Team’ is focussed on

igniting, equipping and networking

prayer movements or the Muslim

world from inside the Muslim world

through intentional, sustained, God-

centred prayer, and through the

training of leaders in prayer.

We believe that prayer is one of the key

missing elements in the spread of the

Gospel in the Muslim world today. The

clear command of Scripture (Acts 6:4),

the testimony of missions history and

the increasing number of case studies

from around the Muslim world over the

past decade all point to one thing. >>

Corporate, sustained prayer from inside

the Muslim world is a key precondition for

large-scale breakthrough for the Gospel among Muslims.

Or to put it another way, prayer

movements in the Muslim world lead to

churches planted in the Muslim world.
