Matthew 13:45-46 NIRV “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a trader who was looking for fine pearls. He found one that was very valuable. So he went away and sold everything he had. And he bought that pearl.” You can’t buy Heaven, but the Bible describes it as a super expensive pearl to show how valuable Heaven is.

Revelation 4:10-11 NIRV … the 24 elders fall down and worship the One who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns in front of the throne. They say, “You are worthy, our Lord and God! …” Some people will be rewarded with crowns when they go to Heaven. Seeing Jesus will be so incredible, though, they will give their crowns to Jesus to worship Him.

Psalm 11:4 NIRV The Lord is in his holy temple. The Lord is on his throne in heaven. He watches all people. His eyes study them. God’s throne is in Heaven.

Revelation 21:18 NIRV The wall was made out of jasper. The city was made out of pure gold, as pure as glass. When God showed John a vision of Heaven, He said some parts of it looked like they were made of pure gold. They were so shiny they looked like glass!

1 Corinthians 2:9 NIRV It is written, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has known what God has prepared for those who love him.” We don’t know everything about Heaven, so when we die and our spirits go there, it will be an amazing surprise, like opening a really great gift!

Revelation 21:4 NIRV “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or sadness. There will be no more crying or pain. Things are no longer the way they used to be.” In Heaven, Jesus will wipe away every tear. We will not be sad or miss our families when we go there.

Hebrews 13:14 NLT For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come. When we choose to trust in and follow Jesus, Heaven is our spirit’s home. Our spirit will go there when we die.

2 Peter 3:13 NLT But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness. Heaven is a happy and peaceful place, full of what is right and good.

Revelation 4:3 NIRV The One who sat there shone like jewels. Around the throne was a rainbow shining like an emerald. When God gave John a vision of Heaven, the colors were so amazing he described them as jewels and rainbows.
