Postal services sector in Lithuania

As from 2013, following the implementation of a European Parliament directive, we have provided suitable conditions to use the network of Lietuvos Paštas for other providers of postal services, too.

Representatives of employees’ trade unions are always informed about the main strategic projects and changes, and we look for solutions together –how to increase employee involvement and improve working conditions.

IMPROVEMENT OF WORKING CONDITIONS AND MEANS In post offices which are being modernised – comfortable work stations, and mobile postmen in rural locations are equipped with modern and smart devices for performance of postal operations as well as new service cars.

INCREASE OF THE SALARY FUND The average salary in Lietuvos Paštas is increasing more rapidly than in the market, in order to keep the existing and to attract new employees.
