Dear Residents and Patrons,

During this unprecedented time, the Glendale Heights Recreation Department has decided to put our fall brochure on-line to be able to present a document that we can keep up to date in this minute by minute changing world.

We are dedicated to providing safe programming during this global pandemic and have a number of programs ready to go. If you are looking to work out, our fi tness center has been open for a couple months with a new layout and rules that include reservations, temperature checks and frequent cleanings. This brochure also has programs that include dance, karate, and other youth and child programs. Although these offerings are defi nitely less than year’s past, we are committed to making sure that all of our classes fall within the Restore Illinois Plan, and that we are following all safety guidelines.

At this current time, we will not be able to offer PATH Before & Afterschool Programming. With the current State of Illinois guidelines and knowing that we service school districts that are not offering the same school hours and schedule, we don’t feel that we can staff and follow the guidelines that are in place at this time. We will continue to monitor and work with the school districts on the PATH program. Our intention is to have PATH up and running as soon as we know the program will be what our parents and students have come to expect.

As we continue through the fall, please be sure that you check back here to see any additions or changes that are made. We hope that the fall brings us more opportunities to offer you and your families the programs and services you have come to expect from us.

Thank you for your understanding and if you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Have a great fall and be safe!

Sincerely,Keith M. KnautzDirector of Parks, Recreation and FacilitiesVillage of Glendale Heights630-260-6060
