east, and are come to worship him. 3 When Herod the king had heard these things, hewas troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And when he had gathered all the chiefpriests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ shouldbe born. 5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by theprophet, 6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princesof Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. 7 ThenHerod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what timethe star appeared. 8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligentlyfor the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I maycome and worship him also. 9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in theeast, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 10 Whenthey saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11 And when they were comeinto the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, andworshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto himgifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. 12 And being warned of God in a dream thatthey should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

sign which shall be spoken against; 35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soulalso,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed. 36 And there was one Anna, aprophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, andhad lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; 37 And she was a widow ofabout fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served Godwith fastings and prayers night and day. 38 And she coming in that instant gave thankslikewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption inJerusalem. 39 And when they had performed all things according to the law of theLord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth. 40 And the child grew, andwaxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well:
and it was about the sixth hour. 7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water:Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. 8 (For his disciples were gone away unto thecity to buy meat.) 9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have nodealings with the Samaritans. 10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest haveasked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hastthou that living water? 12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us thewell, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13 Jesus answeredand said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 Butwhosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the waterthat I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither comehither to draw. 16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. 17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: 18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou nowhast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. 19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and yesay, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith untoher, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we knowwhat we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is,
when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for theFather seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship himmust worship him in spirit and in truth. 25 The woman saith unto him, I know thatMessias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. 27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman:yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? 28 The womanthen left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30 Then theywent out of the city, and came unto him. 31 In the mean while his disciples prayedhim, saying, Master, eat. 32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. 33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought himought to eat? 34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me,and to finish his work. 35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then comethharvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they arewhite already to harvest. 36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruitunto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38 I sent you toreap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are enteredinto their labours. 39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for thesaying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did. 40 So when theSamaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them:and he abode there two days. 41 And many more believed because of his own word;42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we haveheard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

Luke 6:20-49
20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. 21Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye
shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. 22 Blessed are ye, whenmen shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shallreproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. 23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the likemanner did their fathers unto the prophets. 24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. 25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woeunto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. 26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. 27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. 29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that takethaway thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also. 30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. 31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do eventhe same. 34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye?for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, andye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to theevil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not becondemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: 38 Give, and it shall be given unto you;
good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men giveinto your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measuredto you again. 39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shallthey not both fall into the ditch? 40 The disciple is not above his master: but every onethat is perfect shall be as his master. 41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thybrother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, whenthou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast outfirst the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the motethat is in thy brother's eye. 43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neitherdoth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; andan evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for ofthe abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. 46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth mysayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man whichbuilt an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the floodarose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it wasfounded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beatvehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

Wash Jesus' Feet
Luke 7:36-50
36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat. 37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat
at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, 38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. 39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. 40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on. 41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? 43Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. 44 And he turned to the woman, and said untoSimon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. 45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. 46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. 47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. 48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. 49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? 50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

Matthew 9:35-10:42
35And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the
people. 36But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.37Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourersare few; 38Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourersinto his harvest. Chapter 10 1And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power againstunclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner ofdisease. 2Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who iscalled Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John hisbrother; 3Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James theson of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; 4Simon theCanaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. 5These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way ofthe Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6But go rather to thelost sheep of the house of Israel. 7And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom ofheaven is at hand. 8Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils:freely ye have received, freely give. 9Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in yourpurses, 10Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves:for the workman is worthy of his meat. 11And into whatsoever city or town ye shallenter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. 12And when yecome into an house, salute it. 13And if the house be worthy, let your peace come uponit: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14And whosoever shall notreceive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off
the dust of your feet. 15Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land ofSodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city. 16Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise asserpents, and harmless as doves. 17But beware of men: for they will deliver you up tothe councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; 18And ye shall be broughtbefore governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and theGentiles. 19But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak:for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 20For it is not ye thatspeak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. 21And the brother shalldeliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise upagainst their parents, and cause them to be put to death. 22And ye shall be hated ofall men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. 23Butwhen they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Yeshall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. 24Thedisciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. 25It is enough for thedisciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called themaster of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?26Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed;and hid, that shall not be known. 27What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light:and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. 28And fear not themwhich kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is ableto destroy both soul and body in hell. 29Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? andone of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30But the very hairs ofyour head are all numbered. 31Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than manysparrows. 32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess alsobefore my Father which is in heaven. 33But whosoever shall deny me before men,him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. 34Think not that I am cometo send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35For I am come to seta man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and thedaughter in law against her mother in law. 36And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. 37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me:and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38And he thattaketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39He that findethhis life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. 40He thatreceiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.41He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shallreceive a righteous man’s reward. 42And whosoever shall give to drink unto one ofthese little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say untoyou, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

thy brother's wife. 19 Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would havekilled him; but she could not: 20 For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a justman and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, andheard him gladly. 21 And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthdaymade a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee; 22 And when thedaughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them thatsat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I willgive it thee. 23 And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give itthee, unto the half of my kingdom. 24 And she went forth, and said unto her mother,What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist. 25 And she came instraightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by andby in a charger the head of John the Baptist. 26 And the king was exceeding sorry; yetfor his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her. 27And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to bebrought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison, 28 And brought his head in acharger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother. 29 And whenhis disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.

Now there was muchgrass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11 And Jesustook the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and thedisciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. 13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filledtwelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over andabove unto them that had eaten. 14 Then those men, when they had seen the miraclethat Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. 23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a
mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. 24 Butthe ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. 26And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is aspirit; and they cried out for fear. 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying,Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. 28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if itbe thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when hesaw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and saidunto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? 32 And when they werecome into the ship, the wind ceased. 33 Then they that were in the ship came andworshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Luke 13:10-17

he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorifiedGod. 14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesushad healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in whichmen ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? 16And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo,these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? 17 And when he hadsaid these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for allthe glorious things that were done by him.
