The Story BeginsInky Mouse is taking pictures for a sound scrapbook she is making to help her friends learn to read.

One day she is out in the Vowel Forest with her camera when she finds Bee crying. Bee is sad because she has lost her way home. She cannot read the sign saying Bee Hive.

Inky offers to teach her toread. This makes Bee happy and they set off looking for something beginning with a ‘s’ sound. Bee knows thevery thing...
