Are you passionate about helping senior citizens thrive?

Add an Activities Professional class to your job training portfolio. It is the perfect training for those who

work with seniors.

The Career:Activity professionals have an important role ensuring the overall health of seniors. They provide a wide range of activities and develop a meaningful activity program in the long-term care facility. Skilled activities professionals may work in: • senior centers • community centers • recreation departments • assisted living facilities • retirement communities • clubs • other support groups.

The TTC Activities Professional Class:This one-day course focuses on providing mental and physical activities for senior citizens.

This course consists of lecture and hands-on participation in activities designed to meet the needs of senior citizens.

Topics include: • the needs of seniors • specific skills and resources to provide a meaningful activity program • the impact of the attitude and delivery of activities
