Activity 1 ‘Lets rhyme together?’

• In groups, pupils complete jigsaw puzzles to form pictures of various occupations.

• Pupils talk about their parents’ occupation with the picture guidance.

• Teacher introduces the nursery rhyme entitled “People Work”.

• Pupils recite the rhyme together with the teacher.

Identifying Common Nouns • Teacher divides students into pairs.• Teacher distributes the poems and explain to

the students to underline the common nouns (people & things).

• Few pairs will come in front of the class and present their answers.
