    Follow-Up Activity

George was the scruffiest giant in town. He always wore the same old

    clothes.

One day he bought some new clothes from the shop. He left his old clothes

    behind.

He met a giraffe with a very cold neck. He gave the giraffe his tie as a scarf.

He met a goat who lost his sail in a storm. He gave the goat his shirt as a

    sail.

He met a mouse family whose house had burned down. He gave them his

    shoe as a house.

He met a fox who lost his sleeping bag. He gave the fox one of his socks as

    a bed.

He met a dog trying to cross a bog. He used his belt as a path over the bog.

His trousers fell down and he felt very cold.

He returned to the shop, but it was closed.

He found his old clothes outside the shop.

The animals gave George a crown and a card to thank him for hiskindness.

He felt cosy when he put on his clothes.
