That 18% of Nicholls freshmen responded "very much" on a item asking whether instructors "provided prompt and detailed feedback on tests and assignments" (compared with 27% of ULS freshmen)? That 47% of seniors completed a "culminating senior experience" (compared with 38% of ULS seniors)? If not, this presentation may be for you. We will have an open-ended discussion of the results from the Spring 2014 National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), along with exploring ways the results can be used with specific groups of students you may be working with (e.g., breakouts by fraternity/sorority membership, housing status, veteran status, disability status, international, etc.).

Workshops (to be presented by webinar attendees at individual institutions) would empower participants to see themselves as archivists of their own digital records and will cover topics ranging from best practices for creating digital records and rights issues in the digital landscape to strategies for storing digital records and emerging developments regarding the digital afterlife. The workshop will also allow archivists the opportunity to advocate for themselves as a source of expertise for assisting individuals (institutional faculty/staff, students, community members, etc.) with their personal digital archiving needs.
