I have come that you may have life, Jesus said, and that you may have it more

abundantly.1 And He wasnt talking onlyabout eternal life in heaven. If you have

received Jesus, things you never dreamed possible are possible for you right here

and now! In fact, anything is possible.2 With His help, you can reach goals that

have eluded you and overcome bad habits and weaknesses that have held you

back.His power is unlimited,3 but He needs your cooperation. How much and how

quickly you change depends largely on how much you desire it, how much you

ask for His help, and how much you depend on Him. Its not a matter of trying to

bring about the change yourself through willpower or self-effort, but rather of

learning to let Jesus do the work. You do that by spending time with Him, reading

His Word and meditating on it, and then applying it as you go about your day.

Jesus promises, If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what

you desire, and it shall be done for you.4 Now thatis power to change!
