Shannonville Ontario Action Resumes At Shannonville Motorsport Park After a month long hiatus, the motorcycles were back on track at Shannonville Motorsport Park this weekend. The weather was perfect and the racing close despite the long wait to resume racing action on Shannonville’s 2.47 km Pro Track layout. The big winner this weekend was Newcastle’s Elie Daccache. Despite a scary morning practice crash, the Kennedy Motorsports backed rider rebounded nicely to win both of his Pro classes on the weekend. In Pro Superbike action, Daccache jumped into the early lead, only to see the race stopped after a tworider collision in Allen’s corner, which brought out the red flag and a halt to race action. On the 10lap restart, Daccache once again jumped into the early lead, followed closely by Jim Proulx. The two riders battled for the remaining laps with Steve “Doc” Walker in a lonely third place. Behind Walker an epic battle was shaping up between Anthony Scavone and veteran road racer Jeff Williams who has recently come out of retirement. Daccache managed to hold off Proulx for the win, who had to settle for runnerup status leaving “Doc” Walker on the final step of the podium. After a lengthy battle, Scavone finished in fourth with Kingston Ontario rider, Jeff Williams a close fifth.

Action Resumes At Shannonville Motorsport Park    After  a  month  long  hiatus,  the  motorcycles  were  back  on  track  at  Shannonville  Motorsport  Park  this  weekend.

In  Pro  Superbike  action,  Daccache  jumped  into  the  early  lead,  only  to  see  the  race  stopped  after  a  two-‐rider  collision  in  Allen’s  corner,  which  brought  out  the  red  flag  and  a  halt  to  race  action.  On  the  10-‐lap  re-‐start,  Daccache  once  again  jumped  into  the  early  lead,  followed  closely  by  Jim  Proulx. Daccache  managed  to  hold  off  Proulx  for  the  win,  who  had  to  settle  for  runner-‐up  status  leaving  “Doc”  Walker  on  the  final  step  of  the  podium.  After  a  lengthy  battle,  Scavone  finished  in  fourth  with  Kingston  Ontario  rider,  Jeff  Williams  a  close  fifth.
