AbstractLiwagon, Dionesio Jr. L. Analysis on the Achievement Level of the Five Learning Areas in the National Achievement Test: Basis for Intervention. Unpublished Action Research. Bukidnon State University, City of Malaybalay, Bukidnon. September 2011.The main purpose of this study is to analyze the Achievement Level of the five learning areas in the National Achievement Test (NAT) Grade Six result of Aloran District, Division of Misamis Occidental in school year 2010-2011. The researcher used data of the NAT of school year 2010-2011. A descriptive method of research was utilized in this study.

The following results were drawn from the research: students in the district have only mastered HEKASI and Mathematics while only nearly mastered English, Science, and Filipino; there is a relationship in the performance of pupils in English to their performance in Filipino, Science, Mathematics, and HEKASI; and schools in highland areas with lesser population performed better in English than those in the lowland.The following conclusions were drawn from the findings of the study: students have better performance in Mathematics and HEKASI than in other learning areas; students with high achievement in English will have high achievement in other subject areas; and schools in highlands with lesser population excel more than in lowland.
