mornin Acorn Class Term 2: November 2018 Welcome! Welcome to an exciting new term in Acorn Class. I hope you have all had an enjoyable break and are ready for a busy term as we prepare for Christmas. This term our topic is Christmas around the world. We will be focusing on how festive traditions and customs are celebrated in different countries, particularly those associated with Christmas. This term PE will be on a Thursday. The children will be taught by a cricket coach and will be outside, weather permitting. Please make sure that your child has suitable clothing and if your child wears tights, please make sure that you pack a pair of socks so their feet do not get cold. This term we will start rehearsals for our upcoming Nativity productions. The dress rehearsal will be on Monday 11 th December. Details concerning costumes will follow nearer the time. Performances will be on Tuesday 12 th December, morning and afternoon and Wednesday 13 th December in the morning. Christmas lunch will be on Friday 14 th December when we will be wearing our festive jumpers! We will be having our Christmas parties on Tuesday 19 th
