Why?Your consistent acknowledgement of AIHS is a condition of your funding because it shows Albertans the return on their investment in health research and innovation.

As an AIHS trainee, researcher or innovator, you are part of one of our province’s most valued resources—highly qualified people. When you consistently acknowledge your AIHS support, you add to the growing profile of our province as a centre of health research and innovation strength, made possible by the funding partnership between AIHS and our vital research community.

Your acknowledgment of AIHS funding helps ensure public awareness, engagement and support so health research and innovation in our province continues to thrive.

Did you know?Only publications with correct acknowledgement of AIHS can be considered products of the research attributable to AIHS funding. Consistent acknowledgement of AIHS in publications is the backbone for evaluation and environmental scanning for annual reports, required by the provincial government, the source of our funding. Consistent and correct acknowledgement of AIHS funding is needed to map the support for different areas of health research and innovation.
