What is the problem? Burning fossil fuels makes pollution that goes into the atmosphere and turns into acid. The acid rains down with water and harms plants, buildings, and animals. What is being done? Not much is being done about the acid rain problem. A couple of countries made laws reducing the amount of coal factories are allowed to burn, but not much else. Factories are able to wash coal by crushing the coal and washing the coal in water causing ALL the acid rain pollutants in the coal to be washed away, but many industries find this too costly. How do I feel about it? I feel that acid rain is causing lots of damage

How do I feel about it?I feel that acid rain is causing lots of damage and should be stopped. It’s horrible that just
by washing coal before it’s used and spending a little extra money you could stop
it all, but no one does anything.
What can we do?You can write a letter to your nearest
electricity power plant or your mayor/governor about acid rain problems.
