ResponsibilitiesPrincipal Data Stewards: are responsible for coordinating and integrating all data requirements within their subject area, or business line. Principal Data Stewards:
• Will work directly with the Interior Data Architect in the review and establishment of DOI data standards documented in the DOI Data Reference Model and
associated data repository.
• Are responsible for functionally establishing proposed data standards, and encouraging implementation of data standards.
• Are responsible for working with the Interior Data Architect in performing completeness and quality checks, formal reviews, and information exchange reviews of proposed data standards.
• Will review and consider comments and recommendations presented during formal data standards reviews in the Department.
• Are responsible for issue resolution associated with proposed data standards for their associated business line.
• Are responsible for reviewing proposed data standards submitted by other Principal Data Stewards, when those submissions have a potential impact on their own subject area.
