ASLX is a custom designed product that responds to an identified threat risk against projectiles and or shrapnel.

The ASLX product is a 13mil (335microns) security laminate. This multiple layer, 3 ply laminate offers protection against the highest security threats.

The ASLX platform

Using the SL14 as a platform the third layer of the SL14 has been manipulated and modified allowing the technician to install on top of the SL14 platform multiple layers. That top layer being etched by way of a chemical process allowing the mounting adhesive that normally adheres to glass now to embed into the P.E.T. of the original platform of the SL14

The term SL14 is being used as a term of art however we are not using the actual SL14 as the SL14 is a standalone product.

For example in one country in the Middle East for some of their vehicles, three layers of the ASLX30 will resist a 38 calibre bullet, whereas in Central America our dealers there have discovered that it takes five layers to do the same thing.

The force of an explosion travels the furthest along the path of least resistance. In urban areas, the blast waves are carried through surrounding streets due to the tunnels they create. This could potentially knock out windows of buildings along the way.

Where can ASLX be applied?

ASLX can be applied to new or existing windows. It can be used to protect residential and commercial buildings as well as on windows of vehicles. Due to the layered structure and custom shapes, sizes and requirements it is very versatile in its functions
