Targeted audience
The event is open to all ICPAR members, change champions, Board members, students, and all Non finance managers from NGOs, the public and private sectors.
Introduction
All managers in various institutions need to make informed decisions that will facilitate them to be successful and ensure their survival in the current uncertain and dynamic business environment.
This workshop though meant for Non-Financial Managers; Finance and accounting individuals could require refreshing themselves with the Key principals that are essential in ensuring that Organizational performance in terms of efficiency and effectiveness is enhanced.
ICPAR has therefore organized this event to ensure that all managerial levels are represented in obtaining the knowledge and skills required to make effective decisions. For example, Board Directors may not be experts in accounting as it is not a requirement; nonetheless, they need knowledge and skills to be able to seek explanations whilst challenging some of the accounting decisions that could have been taken, by being able to read and understand financials.
