since the Third National accountable Care Organization Congress in November 2012, the aCO trend has taken hold in every sector and every region of the country. as of august 2013, there are 488 aCOs identified in the U.s. Of those, 253 are Medicare aCOs with CMs contracts; commercial aCOs continue to be developed, with new entries being an-

nounced daily. an estimated 27 million americans are in aCOs. The number and variety of organizations adopting account-able care delivery models demonstrates the strong belief that this is a key component of the future of american healthcare, particularly as provisions of the affordable Care act continue to roll out during the next several years.

The Fourth National accountable Care Congress, November 4-6 in los angeles, brings together leading policymakers, dealmakers, experts, and those who have been working on the front line of aCO implementation and operations to provide unique, in-depth insights and hands-on experience on what has been done so far and what’s in the planning stage in every sector.

The three-day conference will be filled with compelling keynote presentations, including: lessons learned by the Pioneer aCOs; the transformation of health insurance through exchanges; commercial health plan and hospital-centric aCOs; clinical integration to maximize population health management; bringing accountable care to Medicaid and dual eligible popula-tions; political forecasts from leading healthcare advisers and futurists; updates from CMs; and insights from the private sector. There are two content-rich pre-conferences and twenty-four concurrent sessions that offer participants a chance to learn more about aCO transactions and partnerships, financial and risk management. We will hear from experts on aCO legal issues, quality measurement and hiT implementation, and from clinical leadership from the highest performing aCOs.

Please join us for this exciting conference as aCO models continue to dominate the U.s. healthcare marketplace.
