Software Operation Instruction
System setting----Parameter setting
1. Parameter setting:
Language setting: Simplified Chinese; Traditional Chinese; English.
Software function: Access control, time attendance.
The access control function is default, attendance function is selectable. This selection is
to use attendance function based on access data.
Default menu: The default expanding menu after login the system.
Default login to: Enter the function option under menu option after login the system.
Show the detailed parameter of access spot: Show affair data of access control, other
function(broadcast, compressed database, and so on)
All is check box, you can select as per you need.

Function of modifying default operator admin password.
Function of adding new operator (user)
Click next; There will be the information page for inputting the operator(user):
Input the user name and password and the time of login overtime, then adding is
complete.

The function of log check is mainly to record the data of all the users who ever login,
including name, login time, date and login IP.
4. Delete data:
The main function is to delete personnel information, attendance parameter, attendance
data, access control parameter, access control data, and temporary data and so on in the
database.
Notice: Operation must be with caution, since it will delete all the data and can't renew .As
following pic:
5. Holiday setting:
The function is to add the collective holiday. The corresponding time can be set according
to the need for access control and attendance. As following pic.:

Personnel management
Department setting: add, modify, delete department and check department
information.
Add department: The department No. must be number. The superior department (function:
The current adding department is set as superior or inferior of other departments).

Modify department: You can modify the department No., name, and the relation among
each department after definition.
Delete department: You can delete the bottom department but you can't delete the
superior one without inferior one.
Staff management: add, modify, delete, exchange the card and check staff
information.
Add employee: The work No. must be number. Adding employee information as well as
punching card or punching cards in batch after adding or when exchanging the bad card.
Modify employee: You can modify the work No., name and department, and so on.
Delete employee: You can delete all the information from all the data in personnel
information.
To exchange the bad card: To exchange the card when one stuff loses it or the card is
bad.
Punch card in batch: You can punch card in batch when there are too many staff.
That is to say, punching card in batch by card issuing device after adding
personnel information.

Explanation: Punch card by card issuing device when there are too many staff, you can
get the card number by punching card at the cursor of mouse. Then you can assign the
number to staff after submitting
Access Control Management
Function of access control management: controller parameter setting, access spot
parameter setting, time period setting, access right setting, and broadcast management.
1. Controller parameter setting
Add controller:
Function: The basic parameter information for adding controller.

Operation:
1. The controller No. is on the device. The 5/8 digits No. is on the white label. Each
controller owns only one No..
2.ControllerIP address ex-factory default is :192.168.0.254.But here the controller IP is
user -definedThe definition can be based on the local server IP..
3. The Server IP (the PC IP for installing software) ,The Ex-factory default server IP (which
is saved in the controller) is :192.168.0.5.Now you can set it as per the local PC IP for
installing software.

work schedule management, setting of attendance regulation and attendance
disposal, pls take the introduction of attendance management and disposal as
reference.
The setting is completed, then click to add and confirm, adding is completed. There will be
the pic as follows:
Explanation: Controller parameter (door quantity), add automatically as per the controller
No. For example: 1XXXX is 1 door controller corresponding with one door; 2XXXX is 2
doors controller corresponding with two doors; 4XXXX is 4 doors controller corresponding
with 4 doors.
2 Time period setting: it can set many time periods automatically, and also can set
different time periods of opening for different employee. As following pic.:

Explanation: You can only open the door during the selected time period, otherwise, you
cant. The selected time is only available in valid time range, and the unit of time period is
30 min.
3 Employee right setting: You can set the employee right as per the department and
individual.
Assign right
After adding staff information, you can assign right for them. As following pic.:

Select employee
The four buttons in the middle are radio button, all selecting, all deleting, radio deleting.
They are used for selecting and deleting user, and then choose the corresponding door
No. in below column for the selected user. After that, click "modify" to finish the operation.

Report check: personnel report, affair report, data of attendance punching,attendance monthly report.
