SOFTWARE ASSET MANAGEMENT: SPECIALIST
Job SummaryThe TeleSAM Specialist is responsible for work activityrelated to the SAM license reviews. This role will interactdirectly with the clients global small and medium-sizedcustomers and will be responsible for value-added SAMlicense reviews. The TeleSAM Specialist will ensure thelicense review activities drive the business objectives byreducing the number of under-licensed customers andmaximizing license revenue, as well as best representing
the client as a trusted partner to their SMB customers. Thereviews are focused on ensuring that the customers arecomplying with the companys licensing agreements andproviding guidance on software asset management.
QualificationsMasters DegreeWorking knowledge of IT and software
Key Responsibilities:
Influence customers via phone/email to participate inSAM license review Analyze and refine Parent Child relationships of
targeted customers Utilize the clients licensing knowledge to answer
questions related to filling out the DS Summary anddiscrepancies in LOP (License Ownership Positions).
Coordinate with internal licensing group to answerquestions and prepare LOP.
Follow up with customers to ensure they have filled thegap in license positions
Capture accurate, detailed notes of discussions andarrangements and send follow up information asrequested/required
Data entry in the companys database with customerinformation
Meet individual productivity / sales targets Be proactive and innovative with ideas to continuously
improve collection-related processes, services anddeliverables to the client
Escalate issues in accordance with escalation policy;collect, progress and escalate high quality dispute
information as required Support Process Improvement efforts and contribute toa culture of early problem identification, timelyresolution
Collect information for use in root cause analytics formissed operational metrics, elongated cycle times andproductivity degradation
Contribute to direct planning, control, monitoring andreporting of significant program events that impactdelivery milestones
Provide project status reports detailing key
accomplishments, risks/issues and mitigating actionplans Assist in the preparation of management reports in line
with clients and Accentures requirements; providecollections statistics and reports
Ensure self and team mates up-skill business and/orfunctional/technical knowledge
