The Restorative CourseThe aim of the course is to introduce GDP’s to more stimulating, rewarding restorative dentistry. We will show you how

to plan and execute more complex cases with confidence. The course is a balance between theory and practical. Each

delegate will fabricate and fit a Michigan splint which includes facebow and jaw registration practicals. There are also

phantom head sessions covering anterior and posterior composites as well as veneers and all ceramic crowns.

9 modules over 10 months based in Leeds City Centre & Optident, Ilkley

Commences September 2017 and counts towards 63 hours verifiable CPD

The Implant CourseBegin your implant journey with us

The course is designed to introduce implant dentistry to dentists with little or no implant experience. We will showyou how to treatment plan, place and then restore implants.

Each delegate will place and restore a minimum of 3 implants and we will continue to mentor for future cases. Thecourse is a comprehensive mix of implant theory and practical with live surgery and restoration sessions.

Surgical experience is no barrier as we will as teach and demonstrate the basic concepts of oral surgery includingflap design and suturing.

Dr Aman Bharti BDS MFGDP(UK) MJDF Dip Rest Dent.

Aman is the owner of Headrow Dental, a multi award winning private practice in Leeds CityCentre and has a real passion for dentistry. His main interests lie in aesthetic restorativedentistry and occlusal studies. Aman recognises the huge gap that exists between generalpractice and rewarding dentistry. In his own words.

He has been involved in teaching for many years as a foundation trainer and a mentor for theMJDF Diploma.He appears regularly in the dental press and as a dental expert for BBC Radio Leeds.

Dr Kish Kumar BDS PGCert MSc. (implants) PGCert (sedation)

Kish has vast experience in implant dentistry with his main interest lying in full mouth

reconstruction and grafting using the latest implant technologies. Kish is also a mentor and

tutor for the MSc program at the University of Manchester.

‘’The aim of the academy is to bring together all the years of knowledge and experience to

better equip our delegates with the skills needed for complex cases in general practice.

Here in the UK we lag behind our European colleagues in the delivery of implant dentistry. It is

my aim to give our dentists the skills and support necessary to be better restorative and surgical

dentists.’’

Dr Sherif Abbas DDS MFDS RCPS (Glasgow)

Sherif is currently completing Masters degrees in both Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry

at the Eastman. He loves all things dentistry but his main passion is in the field of facial

aesthetics.

‘'Beautiful dentistry requires a beautiful frame and it's the finishing touches that make all the

difference'’

Sherif will be running facial aesthetics evenings for dentists and will be teaching oral surgery on

our implant program.
