As Academics Plus has continued to grow, the school has enrolled a more diverse
student population. In 2011, the student minority population has grown to 29% as
shown below.
The secondary campus has an African-American population of 21%, which exceeds
the 20% requirement for the secondary campus contained in Academics Plus’ Charter.

The 37 students in the 2012 graduating class are enrolled to earn 621 concurrent credit
In 2011, one senior graduated from Academics Plus with 39 college credit hours at no charge to the student and a 2012 Senior is projected to earn 42 college hours
2012 graduating class will save approximately $122,337 in tuition costs

NEW ELEMENTARY BUILDING
$4.3 Million 32,000 square feet elementary building:
19 classrooms, 1 computer lab, Special Education classroom, Title I Book Room, office space for the principal, secretary, counselor and nurse.
Opened the doors to students on August 15, 2011.
The architecture connects the Maumelle Community Center from the north with the Maumelle library to the south.
$6.2 Million bond issue that includes all land and buildings on the premises excluding the 99 year lease for the lot from the City of Maumelle.
Over the past four years the school has averaged an additional 70 students per
year and there are currently 121 on the waiting list for 2012-2013. Growth is
anticipated to continue to increase and estimates are as follows:
