The MET League of Colleges is a conglomerate of premiere educational institutions, driven by a single-

minded focus on imparting quality education to make students sharp. Established in 1989, with a mission

faced oasis of knowledge. The grant of the ISO 9001:2008 certification is an acknowledgement of the

institution’s capability to deliver professional education that meets the highest standards of

professionalism worldwide.

CESA (CIVIL ENGINEERING STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION)

CESA – Civil Engineering Students’ Association was an idea, a challenge to create a platform for the students, by

the students and of the students wherein the students would come out of the shell to display their talent, innovation

and help them make a cut above the rest.

Established on 18th September 2014, Tech-Xplode has been creating waves ever since. Tech-Xplode is committed

in generating, disseminating, and preserving knowledge, and to working with others to bring this knowledge to

bear on the world’s great challenges.

It is a collaboration of all the Civil Engineering students of our college, basically to unite them to participate and

contribute towards the activities organized by S.E., T.E. and B.E. students.

OBJECTIVES:

• To develop leadership qualities among the students.

• To develop their event management / resource handling skills.

• To bring forth financial literacy among the students.

• To develop communication skills – campaigning and sponsorship.

• Nurture and promote their creativity in all activities.

• All round development of students – technical, sports, cultural.

TEACHERS’ DAY:

We very well know that Teachers are the whole and soul reason of what we are now.CESA takes the

responsibility of conductiong Teachers’ Day and making it as grand as possible. We work towards making this

day “special”, memorable and an experience which is outside the classroom boundaries for teachers as well ass

students. Every year CESA celebrates the Teachers’ Day Function on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Dr.

Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. This year we celebrated it on 6th September 2016.

INAUGRATION CEREMONY 2016-2017:

A grand event was held for the inauguration of CESA’ 16 ON 16TH September 2016.The event was conducted for

3 consecutive days from 16th – 18th September 2016.The inauguration was common with the participation of all

the departments of IOE. It was witnessed by the theme based on the sports legends of India. Students from various

departments played a vital role in imparting the images of great sports legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Sayna

Nehwal, Sakshi Malik and many more. The event was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Mrs.Shefali Bhujbal Ma’am.

Many of the sponsors from in and around nasik has enlighten the ceremony with their valuable presence. To name

a few they were ValurHR Pvt.Ltd. Mumbai- A Singapore based NMC, GDSS Nasik, PT Education Nashik, etc.

1st ALUMNI MEET:

The 1st alumni meet was held by all the departments of Institue of Engineering. It was a great moment for MET

BKC Family to celebrate the 1st Alumni Meet of all the departments together with common inaugration. The

inaugration was held at IOTP Seminar Hall on 1st October 2016. The department celebrated the 1st alumni meet

with the presence of the glorious alumni of the years starting from the 1st batch of the department. The event was

inaugrated with the enjoyable yet meaningful acts by current students.

Various alumni had addressed the current students with their valuable guidance for shaping their careers.

Discussion session was also arranged for the current students to get the valubble inputs from the alumni for their

further academic growth and opportunities to have a bright career.

FAREWELL 2016-2017:

It is often said that the best period in the life of anyone is the time they spend in their school and college. This is,

undoubtedly, golden era, which is recollected nostalgically for the rest of their life. So to make this day special,

we had organized a farewell party for the final year students on 26th April 2017. There were many activities

planned and we had a lot of fun.
