teachers in the Educational Institution "Mariscal Castilla".The research was basic, level design and correlational descriptive study and

applied the scientific method. The study was conducted at the school Mariscal Cchip, with a sample of fifty teachers.Technique was used literature review, observation, interview, document analysis and advice. For the testing of thehypothesis test used Pearson correlation coefficient. The results of the study disclosed the confirmation of the hypothesis of the

existence of highly significant relationship between the pedagogical supervision

and teacher performance. There is also a highly significant relationship between

verification / control and teacher performance. The relationship betweenmonitoringteaching and teacher performance is direct and highly significant. There is also a

highly significant relationship between educational support and teacher

performance.Since the correlation coefficient is positive, it follows that the implementation of

pedagogical supervision significantly influence the improvement of teacher

achievement in students of School "Mariscal Castilla" corresponds to the

assumption made that there is highly significant relationship between cognitive

learning strategies and academic achievement in students and students of School

"Mariscal Castilla".The research was basic, level design and correlational descriptive study and

applied the scientific method. The study population consisted of 618 students and

the sample was set to 257 students of both sexes were enrolled in grade

school. We used the techniques of literature review, survey and documentreview. The data collection instruments were questionnaire Learning StrategiesScale ACRA, Snchez Romn, J. and Gallego, S. (1994), and the minutesrecorded the final averages in the curricular areas. For the testing of the hypothesis

test used Pearson correlation coefficient. The conclusions reached by the present investigation disclosed the confirmation of

the hypotheses on the existence of highly significant relationship between cognitive

learning strategies, acquisition whose value is 0.324 with a p value (Sig) of 0,

encoding the value is 0.26 with a p value of 0, recovering the value is 0.26 with a p

value of 0 and information processing support to academic performance. In short, acceptance of the hypothesis leads to the formulation of suggestions that

involve impact on the students knowledge and effective use of cognitive learning

strategies in different curriculum areas, which would lead to developing a better

performance and academic achievement. Keywords: Cognitive Learning Strategies, Academic Performance
