vi ABSTRACT Work instruction is a command which available to help someone to do their job ccorrectly in an order. The obedience of work instruction take effect in preventing work accident in work place. The purpose of this research is to analyze factors that related to the obedience of container crane workers to work instruction. This research including observational research with 15 respondents. The variable of this research were age, working period, and knowledge. The research instruments consist of interview and observational sheets. The data was analyzed were descriptively The result of this research showed that 36-40 aged respondents have more obedient behavior (100%) than 41-45 aged respondent (66,7%) and 46-50 aged respondent (0%). Respondents with the working period less than 10 years have obedient behavior (100%) more than 10-20 years respondents (62,5%). Even though the well-knowledged respondent have more obedient behavior (100%) than moderate-knowledged respondent (33%). It was concluded that the younger the respondent’s age, the better repondent’s attitude. The longer the working period of respondent’s, the behavior of respondent mindly reduced and the better of the knowledge repondents, the better of behavior respondents obidient. ABSTRACT

Work instruction is a command which available to help someone to do

ABSTRAK

Instruksi Kerja adalah perintah yang disediakan untuk membantu

seseorang dalam melakukan pekerjaan dengan benar sesuai prosedur. Kepatuhan

pekerja terhadap instruksi kerja berpengaruh dalam mencegah adanya kecelakaan

kerja di suatu area perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis faktor –

faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan pekerja operator container crane

terhadap instruksi kerja.

Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian observasional dengan jumlah responden

15 orang. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah usia, masa kerja dan pengetahuan.

Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar wawancara dan lembar observasi. Data

dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan tabulasi silang.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden yang memiliki usia 36-40

tahun mempunyai perilaku patuh lebih tinggi (100%) daripada responden yang

memiliki usia 41-45 tahun (66,7) dan 46-50 tahun (0%). Responden yang

memiliki masa kerja <10 tahun lebih patuh (100%) daripada responden yang

memiliki masa kerja 10-20 tahun (62,5%). Responden yang memiliki pengetahuan

baik lebih patuh (100%) daripada yang memiliki pengetahuan cukup 33,3%.

Disimpulkan bahwa semakin muda usia responden, maka perilaku patuh

responden semakin baik. Semakin lama masa kerja responden, maka perilaku

patuh responden semakin berkurang dan semakin baik pengetahuan responden,

maka semakin baik pula perilaku patuh responden.
