PATRICIA ABRAMOVICH Netanya, ISRAEL Scenic Oils on Canvas As a teenager I loved drawing portraits and playing the piano. I emigrated from Paris, France to Israel in 1972.Two years later I married to Boris who came from Lithuania, and we have two wonderful children. I have been working as a team manager in financial business for many years. In 1996 I started private painting lessons and fall in love with colors. I used water colors and painted aquarelles. Painting oils on canvas was love at the first lesson and I never stopped since...I painted with brushes and in 2007 I began to paint oil abstracts and landscapes with painter knives. I reached a very special texture and style this way by working with passion and at every free minute I had. I just choose the colors and let my soul conduct me handing the knife as a brush. The colors mix with the movements of the knife in my hand.I just feel when the artwork is ready when reaching a sort of balance between the colors. I use to take landscape pictures when traveling and paint abstract landscapes by watching at them. Art for me is the freedom to create with no boundaries and to express the diversity of colors from which the human soul is composed. Spreading color across a canvas is my meditation: I connect with my inner self. Curious to see the final results of my painting, I usually don t know how the artwork will look like when finished, I just let my imagination take care of it.
