Startup Canada, as the voice of entrepreneurs, leads Canada's grassroots effort to build a

vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem that will fuel economic prosperity.

Since 2012, Startup Canada has launched 20 Startup Communities, built a network of more

than 60,000 Canadians, worked with 400 partner organizations and 300 volunteers, and has

become a leading catalyst in the global entrepreneurship movement as the secretariat of the

Startup Canada launched its Membership Program in March 2014.

Membership to Startup Canada is now open to organizations, institutions and non-profits that service entrepreneurs across

Canada at the national, regional or local level that wish to:

• Gain access to Startup Canada’s knowledge and network;

• Take a seat at the table to strengthen policies and programs; and,

• Help to strengthen Canada’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and culture through this bottom-up, entrepreneur effort.

Revenues generated through our Memberships fuel our impact in local grassroots startup communities from coast to coast and

our efforts to make Canada the best place in the world to start and grow successful businesses.

OUR Promise– As entrepreneurs ourselves, we are committed to

exceeding your expectations and producing a significant return on investment

for your partnership with Startup Canada. To achieve this, we will assign you a

dedicated relationship manager, issue bi-weekly meetings and provide you

with monthly impact and progress reports and a final product completion

report.

Membership dues are paid on an annual basis with the option of registering for up to five years for a

discounted rate or setting up an auto renewal system.

Members receive ongoing support through the Startup Canada Membership Team.

CATALYST FUND Fuelling Grassroots Entrepreneurial Projects Across Canada

20 Percent of each Membership is allocated to the Startup Canada Catalyst Fund, which will invest $1,000 -

$5,000 into 10-15 entrepreneurial projects, tools and activities that work toward the advancement of

entrepreneurship on the local, regional or national level. The number of projects funded and level of funding

will reflect the funds available.

Recipients will be selected and announced during Global Entrepreneurship Week on an annual basis, decided

by a vote of Network Members.
