SCHOOL VALUES

HOW ARE STUDENTS PROGRESSING?

WHAT MAKES KIPP LIBERTY ACADEMY UNIQUE?

KINDERGARTEN TO COLLEGEOur rigorous curriculum prepares students for college from day one. KIPP nationally has a 20 year track record of preparing students for college and life. KIPP Liberty Academy has leveraged that success starting from year one.

COMMUNITY SCHOOLKIPP Miami is a proud partner of We Rise Education Village. Created by the Urban League of Miami, We Rise Education Village brings together dozens of local and national agencies and organizations that are committed to boosting the value of education.

FAMILY AND SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPSCentral to our students’ success is great

communication. Strong relationships between families, students and teachers are just part of our DNA at KIPP. That’s why teachers are in touch so frequently, and in so many ways, like sending positive text messages to parents about their child’s character growth, or helping students with homework when requested.

BEYOND ACADEMICSWith a full offering of co-curriculars, students at KIPP Liberty Academy have opportunities to explore their passions through non-academic classes. Through these classes and field trips students will have the opportunity to explore the world around them and learn how to express themselves in new ways.

RESULTS THAT MATTERThough we focus on character, our students also receive an education that prepares them for college and beyond. Across all grades and subjects, the majority of KIPP students outperform the national average for annual growth on the NWEA’s Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) test.

TO AND THROUGH COLLEGE Nationwide, 78% of students who graduate from a KIPP middle school or high school matriculate to college. We have created support structures to make sure they get the rest of the way through.
