ELECTRE
The ELECTRE (Elimination Et Choix Traduisant He realite) is based on the concept of ranking
by paired comparisons between alternaties on the appropriate criteria! "n alternatie is said to
dominate the other alternaties if one or more criteria are met (compared with the criterion of
other alternaties) and it is e#ual to the remaining criteria! Ranking relations are between two
alternaties "k from the "$ (Roy% $&') in *+!
The researches on the ELECTRE method has been widely applied% for example,
&+ conducted a study, The ELECTRE method based on interal numbers and its application to
the selection of leather manufacture alternaties! -n this study% it is studied how to make use of
traditional methods for certain circumstances to sole the ."/. with interal numbers! The
paper proposes an enhanced ELECTRE method based on the number of interals! This is
performed by considering the specificity of interal numbers% using the possibility degree for
ranking alternaties% founded the discordance dominance matrix and aggregate dominance
matrix% then eliminating inferior alternaties! This method can be used to ."/.% where the
alues of attributes in the form of interal numbers% and sole the difficulties in ranking a
number of interals in the traditional method! The selection of leather0making problem soling
with this method% and illustrated its application in real life!

method! This method can be used to sole the problem of multiple solutions attribute decision

be grouped in the desirability function approach!
