Aim and objectives
Developing a set of ICT competences in two identified‘at risk’target groups: •low ICT skilled care-workers and •older persons
to promote social inclusion and improvement of quality of life.
Main target groupsPrimary target group:• Group 1: institutions, organisations and individuals
who are directly involved in elderly care
Secondary target groups:• Group 2: specialised research groups involved in social
care research• Group 3: policy-makers in care systems from local to
European level
• Map of domains of competences• Designing and developing modular learning
paths and learning resources• Establishment of Learning Relay Centres (LRC)• Deployment of an open source networking
application
Key Outputs
• Validation seminars in the piloting countries (Spain and France)
• Conference on ICT and eSkills for Social Care in Belgium
