Kalender Safes and Locks was founded by Mehmet Kalender in 1955. It was one the first locksmiths of Ankara. Our modest office was located in Sobacılar Çarşısı, Ulus.

Through time, with dedicated work, we became one of the leading companies in Turkey in the field of difficult locks and safes. After a while, we moved to a 15m2 office located in the Meydan Han, on Çankırı Street, and our company started growing. We became one of the leading experts throughout Turkey in terms of Keys, Locks, Safes and ATM Safes.

Our company has proved this leading role in different partnerships from different fields. For example, we collaborated with the Presidency, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Turkish General Staff and many more. The King of Saudi Arabia invited us to introduce our master key system.

Mehmet Kalender has worked with the ex-president of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Rauf Denktaş, with his special invitation.

With experience spanning more than half a century, Mehmet Kalender gave his place to his son, Serkan Kalender, in 1996 and together started manufacturing safes, safe doors, deposit safes, gun safes, jewel safes, home safes, office safes, and hotel safes.

In 2014, we made a breakthrough with our exclusive distributorship agreement with one of the World’s leading companies of electronic locks, SECURAM.

This year we celebrate our 60th anniversary.

We brought the safe transportation system for the first time to Turkey.

With the reference of the US Embassy, we have manufactured a safe door for their headquarters in another country. We also manufactured special entrance doors for Roketsan and Mikes.

Our mission is to develop projects to best fulfil our customers’ wishes and to provide high quality consultancy to share our 50 year long experience in the sector.Our vision is to become a company that can provide consultancy services in our sector and that can provide high-tech solutions. ARMORED (BANK) DOORSAs it is the case for all our other products, we manufacture our armored doors in accordance with European Standarts. Armored doors are suitable for safe rooms to provide the highest protection against possible robbery, fire and explosion. We use mechanical and electronical locks on our doors. We use an additional grill doors to provide extra security. Our doors are preffered by two of the largests banks of Turkey; Halk Bank And Ziraat Bank. We also manufacture custom armored doors.

DEPOSIT SAFESLike our other safes, our deposit safes are also manufactured in accordance with the World Standars. The area of usage is pretty variable and the safety level is extremely high. Our safes are used in banks, police stations, hotels and shopping malls to keep the valuable items safe.

BANK TYPE SAFES We manufacture our bank series of safes in accordance with the technical specifications of the banks.

ROOM TYPE SAFESThe area of usage is variable for our room type safes. The dimensions are can differ. With Kalender Group lock mechanism and electronical lock system, the security level can be as high as a customer wishes. This safes can be custom-made in acordance with the wishes of a customer.

JEWELER SAFESWe can customly produce all kinds of safes which can be used in jewellerys.

COMPACT ARCHIVEAs a solution to the problem of archiving large amount of files, we offer the most efficient compact archive system. The lowest saving from the spoace is % 60.

FILING CABINET We can manufacture a proper filing cabinet for your files in your office to orginize and save the files properly.

YABAN SERİES (GUN SAFES)It is defined by the law that the guns in the offices or homes should be kept in a proper safes to provide the publich health. We manufacture high quality safes for this kind of usage. Our safes are sold on YABAN (TV) STORE (AZEL OUTDOOR SANAYİ VE TİC. A.Ş).
