The clothes aboriginals wore depended on their climate. Cold climates- possum skin cloak
Warm climates- very little or no clothing but body paintings and grass belts

The Boomerang.
The boomerang was a carved in a tough wood
Was used to hunt
Was painted for decoration
There were different types of boomerangs like a returning boomerang and the hunting boomerang which did not come back
Spear and woomeras
Spears were used on woomeras
The woomera made the spear go faster
The woomera was the fastest projectile weapon before the invention of the rifle

1.tea tree oil- crush leaves and rub on any wound.
2.eucalyuptus oil- for fevers and chills
3.billy goat plum/Kakadu plum- rich source of
vitamin C
4.desert mushrooms- suck to cure sore mouths or lips
5.emu bush- for cuts or sores.
Ten bush medicines
6.wichetty grubs- place on burns
7.snake vine- crush parts of the
vine to relive headaches
8.sandpaper fig-rub leaves on insect
bite until bleeding and smear stinking passion flower on it
9.kangaroo apple- put fruit on swollen joints
10.goat’s foot- pain relief from stingray or stone fish stings

Aboriginal food
Aboriginals ate meat, plants, insects(like honey ants) and fish.
Usually, aboriginal food was very healthy.
Some plants were poisonous, so aboriginals had to choose carefully what to eat.
Aboriginals had to live at least a kilometre from a water hole or they will get dehydrated and would die.
