1. Protect the surface Pull-up banners are made of a high quality synthetic stock. Please do not attached anything to them that will damage the surface. For example; blue tack, velcro dots or glue. Do not use any cleaning products. A wipe with a damp cloth should be all you need. If it is in use around children, then you probably need a stiff drink first, and then wipe with a damp cloth. 2. Protect the mechanism Even the best quality mechanisms can be damaged when not treated with care. Always raise and retract the banner slowly and evenly. This will make sure that both the banner and the mechanism are not damaged. Most importantly, do not suddenly drop the poster when retracting. This will almost certainly damage the mechanism and make the banner unusable. This is the main cause of banner failure, and is not a manufacturing fault. Please be gentle! 3. Keep out of the weather Pull-up banners are designed for indoor use. They do not stay up well in even a gentle breeze, and are not UV or water proof. If you need an outdoor solution too - we can help! 4. Be gentle Yes, we already said this. Do try to keep it out of the hands of rough people, like baggage handlers, small children and carnies. p: 07 3208 5649 www.printingbrisbane.com.au [email protected] PO Box 597 Springwood Q 4127 ABN 3216 6388 138 solutions • quality • efficiency Pull-Up Banners Instructions for a long and useful life

Pull-Up BannersInstructions for a long and useful life

1. Remove the banner from the carry bag, being gentle with the zip

2. Remove the pole from its storage slot in the base. Assemble the pole, and put the end into the banner base

3. Carefully pull the banner up out of the base. You might need to put your foot on the base to hold it steady. When it is fully extended, slot the top of the pole into the top of the banner

4. When you are putting it away, slowly lower the banner down into the base. Take your time and let it roll neat and straight.

Do not drop it! It will retract too quickly and likely damage the poster and the base.

5. Treat your banner with love and it will serve you well for a long time. Manufacturing defects are rare, but banners get damaged all the time!
