ABL Sports Leagues

Our league, formerly known as i9 Sports, was created in New Jersey in December of 2003with one goal in mind: "To provide teams and players with the most well organized league and present more benefits than any other program".In just our first year, we registered over50 teams, and word quickly spread across New Jerseythat there was a new league that did things differently and treated teams as customers. Considered the best kept secret by many, but not for long.Our state-of-the-art websitewas raved aboutas our league grew to3,500members- weekly League Standings, Team Statistics, League & Team News.

Without any compromise in quality, the league is able to grow due to the 'system' we have developed which ensures our teams experience the highest organization and easiest accessibility to speak to someone 'live' when they need to.

TheABL (American Ballplayers League)isa fast-growingrecreational sports leaguefor adults and young professionals in Bergen, Essex, Hudson & Passaic counties.With over 100,000 participants since 2003, ABL Sportsoffers the most popular team sports for adults 18 & over with a focus on fun, safety and good sportsmanship.Formerly known as 'i9 Sports,' the ABL is more focused on adult players, and our new website reflects our goal of providing the most exciting Softball, Basketball, Flag Football and Soccer leagues throughout the region.

Spring League Registration

During the regular season, teams will be scheduled to play in Jersey City at the famed St Anthony's High School home court, located at 180 9th Street (new floors) and will also test out our new Hoboken location at the Hoboken Catholic Academy at 7th St. / Madison St. We also may add an additional gym location in either Jersey City or Hoboken.

Regular Season plays April 19th thru late June
