1 226 Abis D-Channel MeasurementThe Abis D-channel measurement provides information on the end-to-end performance

of the Abis transmission connection. It includes information on framing errors and trans-

mitted octets together with uplink UI and I frame information of Abis D-channels.

g When submultiplexing of Abis timeslots is used in the BTS, note that measurements

cannot be collected per each single multiplexed D-channel separately. Instead, one

of the D-channels acts as a ‘master’ channel and the statistics of all the multiplexed

D-channels are collected on that channel.

In practice, this concerns the BTSPlus.
