ABC Foundation Ltd Not-for-Profit member based company, 50% Aboriginal owned, the Board represented by the Founding Directors, Brad Rowe and Alison Sentance. Membership is open to individuals both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal and corporate organisations.

To bring together Aboriginal people and their traditional ecological knowledge of land and sea country into the present conservation management framework. Dedicated in placing Aboriginal people in the decision making process of protecting and managing Aboriginal lands, conservation estate or cultural biodiversity asset – at a local, regional, national or global scale.

ABC offers four age specific environmental education programs:

Outcome: achievement of certificate of education, completion of school-based traineeships and sustainable employment in

Lifeskills 2 Leadership

Target: 12 - 15 years, transition zone

Stakeholders: schools, support agencies, Aboriginal Corporations, community and parents/families,

Outcome: addressing long-term entrenched and ever growing barriers around poor school attendance and emotional instability

Ranger 4 Life

Target: 3-12 years, early childhood learning

Stakeholders: schools, support services, community, carers, parents and families

Outcome: increases Aboriginal school enrolments, improved school attendance, reducing the risk of disengaged children, parents revaluing Education

Welcome Me 2 Country

Target: 0-3 years, foundational learning

Stakeholders: early years groups, support services, carers, community, parents and families,

Outcome: Increasing family awareness and parental support, play and social development, healthy mother and child

• 2017 Delivering a Aboriginal Land and Sea Management Program through a host agreement with MAX Employment, Gascoyne region.

• 2017 Engaged to deliver Life Skills to Leadership Tom Price High School funded by Mental Health Commission

• 2016 Engaged by RDA Pilbara and Communities for Children to deliver Ranger 4 Life in Tom Price;

• 2016 Engaged by RDA Pilbara and Communities for Children to facilitate the Tom Price Early Years Group;

• 2016 Engaged by Shire of Ashburton to facilitate the Opening and Closing Ceremony for NAIDOC;

• 2016 Engaged by the Gascoyne Development Commission to develop a regional Gascoyne Aboriginal Land and Sea Management Strategy, working collaboratively to implement the strategy and establish the ABC Enterprise Centre in Carnarvon;

• 2016 Facilitated and Sponsored the Cultural Events for the Karijini Experience 2016 (Silver Sponsor)

• 2016 Designed and developed the Custodianship Plan, Nyiyaparli Ranger Program for the Nyiyaparli Custodians in the Pilbara;

• 2016 Engaged by Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation to deliver work for the dole activities, for on-country Ranger development across the Shire of Ashburton;

• 2016 Provided support to the Shire of Ashburton to establish a Caring for Country – Waste Management Approach;

• 2016 Yindjibarndi Aboriginal Corporation (YAC) Cultural Tourism Development for the Ngurrawaana Community and Ngurrawaana Rangers for the Gregories Gorge Precinct.

• 2016 – 2014 Engaged by Ngarliyarndu Bindirri Aboriginal Corporation, to consult, design, develop and implement a Family Cultural Health Station and establish a social enterprise, recommending the first composting facility for the Pilbara;

• 2016 - 2013 Provide extensive business support which has led to 100% Aboriginal businesses in the Pilbara winning more than $5million worth of contracts with Rio Tinto;

• 2016 – 2014 Established the first Aboriginal Training and Employment Community Services industry cluster in South Australia to develop an industry based approached to Building Aboriginal Participation

• 2015 Author- City of Karratha Aboriginal Coastal Land Management Initiative;

• 2015 Author- Murujuga Land and Sea Unit Operational Manual;

• 2015 Author- Ranger for Life Program (Cultural and Environmental Education);

• 2015 Engaged by Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation to design an Oil Spill Response Capability Project to be implemented by the Murujuga Land and Sea Unit;

• 2012-2015 Designed, developed and implemented the Murujuga Ranger Program into a sustainable Land and Sea Unit from inception;

• 2012 Initiated and developed the Murujuga Circle of Elders

• 2013 Engaged by Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yangkantjara Council to develop a funding application for the establishment of Camel Yards and local training program for the live export industry;

• 2011 – 2013 Planned, developed and Implemented the Indigenous Engagement Strategy for Ayers Rock Resort – Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia including establishing a 100 bed training facility, Real Jobs Program in Mutitjulu and developed / advised / supported the overall development of Excellence in Aboriginal Tourism;

• 2012 – Provided business mentoring and support, commercial contract negotiation, in the design and development of the Mani-Mani Indigenous Theatre Company, Anangu owned and operated;

• 2010 – 2012 Fisheries Research and Development (FRDC) Customary Fishing Report. Traditional Owner interviews on Customary Practice and Recommendation;

• 2011 Initiated and implemented the Warlga Walk Trail Geraldton (Cultural Heritage Trail);

• 2010 Developed the Jundaru Aboriginal Corporations business plan for Peedamulla Station;

• 2009 – 2011 Provided Aboriginal Business Development Support, strategic project support and contractor management support including pre-qualification of Aboriginal businesses to Aboriginal people in Pilbara through Marnda Mia Pty Ltd and Rio Tinto;

• 2007 – 2009 On behalf of the ILC, managed the Indigenous Pastoral Program in the Northern Territory;

• 2007 Assisted through the ILC, in the development of the Dugong Beach Resort, Groote Island for the Anindilyakwa people;

• 2005 Assisted through the ILC, acquiring a tourism property on Kangaroo Island for the Ramindjeri people, the first land acquisition for Aboriginal people on the Island, to run cultural tourism venture;

• 2005 Designed and developed a bi-lingual buffel grass education program for the Anangu people of the Ulpinyalli Community (Kings Canyon).
