AAAS Objectives: An Invitation

The report of the 1958 meeting of theAAAS Council (page 469) discusses theappointment of three new Associationcommittees: the Committee on Cooper-ation among Scientists, the Committeeon Science in the Promotion of HumanWelfare, and the Committee on PublicUnderstanding of Science.
