Dated: 31st October, 2017 This is for information of all concerned that a series of lectures on Frontier knowledge, Imagination and Initiatives based on the works of Nobel Laureates of the year 2017 will be held during 15th to 17th November, 2017. The lectures will be held in the KBR Auditorium from 4.00 pm. to 6.00 pm. The speakers will deliver lectures on the each topic for about 30 minutes followed by interaction. Heads of the Departments are requested to ask their students to attend the lecture series as ‘Academic Assignment’ and submit abstracts of the lectures of their interest on the next day in their respective departments/centres. The abstract should contain a write up of 200 to 500 words on a particular lecture and at least one related question on that lecture. The students are also required to put their signatures with name, Roll No. and Programme name at the bottom of their abstracts. The Heads of the Departments/Centres will send the abstracts of the students in a bunch to the office of the undersigned by 21st November, 2017. Best write up with question(s) for each lecture will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 4,000/- (Four thousand only) and a Certificate of Appreciation. Results of the contest will be announced in the beginning of the next semester and the selected candidates will be awarded on the Foundation day. Issued with due approval.
