(1) HistorySeveral damages to the pivoting bins of the Overhead Stowage Compartments (OHSC)have been reported in-service leading to unscheduled and additional maintenance.

(2) Objective/ActionThis Service Bulletin is published to advise the operators of the affected MSNs toinstall new pivoting bins which provide a more robust bonding design.

(3) AdvantagesThe accomplishment of this Service Bulletin will improve the robustness and increasethe lifetime of the pivoting OHSCs leading to a reduction in unscheduled maintenance.
