Welcome to the seventh of our BOX LOT Auctions which will be held at our NEW PREMISES at Level 2, 170 Queen Street, Melbourne, just 100m east of our old offices. This has been a marvellous year with many highlights. We have held 7 major auctions and 7 small boxlot auctions. Auction 16, the Stuart Hardy KGV auction, was a spectacular success and this produced many major achievements. It was our first major auction to achieve 100% sales (although boxlot auction 1204 also achieved this with after sales). It was our first auction to exceed $1,000,000 in sales (the gross was in excess of $1.17 million). The imperf Kookaburra miniature sheet in this auction was sold for $326,200 a World Record Price for any single Australian Commonwealth item. And, to top this year off, we have just been voted Auction House of the Year by the members of the Australasian Philatelic Traders Association. This has been a marvellous year with many highlights. We have held 7 major auctions and 7 small boxlot auctions.

Auction 16, the Stuart Hardy KGV auction, was a spectacular success and this produced many major

achievements. It was our first major auction to achieve 100% sales (although boxlot auction 1204 also achieved

this with after sales). It was our first auction to exceed $1,000,000 in sales (the gross was in excess of $1.17

million). The imperf Kookaburra miniature sheet in this auction was sold for $326,200 a World Record Price for any

single Australian Commonwealth item. And, to top this year off, we have just been voted Auction House of the Year

by the members of the Australasian Philatelic Traders Association.

This Auction of 134 lots contains the usual Collections and Accumulations from around the world, Australian

Decimal Postage, Kiloware and assorted philatelic odds and sods plus a range of literature including pre-loved and

new books, back issues of magazines, journals, auction and stamp catalogues and much more. Something for

everyone!

All our standard auction procedures apply to these Auctions. You can bid in the room, by post, email or through

the website. In fact you can bid exactly the same way you do with our normal public auctions. If you intend to bid
