The With our three weekly lo/lo (lift on/lift of) short sea service between Moerdijk and Immingham ( UK ) we offer our customers the most cost effective shipping route from the Continent to the United Kingdom. Moerdijk is ideally located just outside the vicinity of Rotterdam, Europe’s largest container port and gives you the opportunity to optimize your operations. Our terminal in Moerdijk has very good barge connections to other regional Dutch terminals as well as to terminals in Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg . In addition the terminal has rail infrastructure which really makes our services multi modal. Shipping containers through our service reduces the haulage cost quite considerable. Our terminal is the most land inwards situated, the difference in distance for cargo coming from the East is 31 kilometres in comparison to the nearest short sea terminal in Rotterdam. Furthermore it avoids driving on to the congested motorways around Rotterdam, which means that you can optimize your haulage and planning and reduce your CO2 emission substantially at the same time.

Our fleet of 45ft pallet wide containers that we operate are all high cube and ensures that the optimum is achieved in your payload using besides road, multimodal systems like barge and rail. This especially for cargo flows that are well suited to be carried by inner waterways or on long distances travelling by rail. Our 45ft equipment will fit 33 euro pallets (80 x 120 cm) or 26 chep pallets (100 x 120 cm).

EUROBLOCK supplies and packaging wooden pallet blocks from a single source. Our range of blocks are manufactured to the highest standards of pressed wood residues. The production process is controlled by SGS ControllCo exactly. The raw material we use are wood chips and waste wood of conifers. These are pressed under high pressure to produce high-quality blocks. EUROBLOCK pallet blocks are used worldwide. Thanks to extensive testing and good quality pallet blocks we have the official approval for EPAL and other pallet pools. EUROBLOCK packing wood comes exclusively from state-controlled forests. In our modern sawmill we use pine and pine.
