Once upon a time..the Gods were having a party. There were many Gods
and Goddesses there.

However, the God of Trouble, Eris was not invited to the party.
An angry guest…
Eris thought, and thought, and thought about what she could do to cause a fight.
“What can I do to cause a fight?”
The Golden AppleShe decided to throw in a golden apple. On the apple, she wrote a note saying it was for the prettiest goddess of all.
Why would this cause a fight?
Eventually, they decided between three Gods: Aphrodite, Hera, and Athena. Zeus didn’t want to pick who was the most beautiful.
There was a big fight.
Paris was the Prince of Troy. He was very good looking.
Each Goddess promised him some-thing different.
Aphrodite promised the him the most beautiful woman in the world.
He told Paris to de-cide.
Her name was Helen.
…but she was already married to the King of Sparta!
He did not care that Helen was married!
Paris kidnapped Helen back to Troy!
Paris was selfish.
Can you guess what hap-pened next…?
