A film that is set up by performance on artists, whom are transitional between the crossing of technology and arts. Forward looking but not going back to the roots of all the basis in visual studies and arts, the idea of the creative soul, travel and traverse throughout different aspect of cities and places by the auteur’s theory of his Alter Ego setup as document of a visualist.!

!The director’s overcoming of being uniquely in a field that render the project to rim of theory, in which to tell one another the origin of this interest is from an independent vj project and for the director’s own journey of a road film as a visualist’s movement.!!Then, often enough commercial message, that will under painting the veil on a number or by the criticism for cultural history; even towards this last decade on video artists, A. VISUALIST is a story for cultural interthesis of technology and performances. Directors Statement - Tokyo 2009!!!The moment I have taken to the film. The idea of a place begins to work with the idea. The purpose is uni-defined by the zeitgeist or myself the director. And then there is only an opulent thoughts to be benevolent with the relationship of each artists or programmed event. As the idea grows from doing analytic reportage between what is beautiful and purposeful. Music and the visuals are the continuity of this new cultures. From being in cities like New York, Tokyo and London.!!There are the visualists, the natural born scala of the lightings, the visual effects, the parties, or an events, when the concert without the likely if not for the organizers and musicians/DJ all having to take a part to play in the film.!!Ben come to my knowledge through another VJ. At the time I have been already active with some club scene in Hong Kong and during my reside in Tokyo. I had have been taking several trips a year to live in Japan to learn more about the music and design industry in Tokyo. Ben has been active with his label Light Rhythm Visuals for about four years. He started the label as he was moving away from San Francisco in California, USA. Where we met were in the club of Shibuya, Tokyo.!!It was the last day of 2008 going to 2009. I was ready to move back to hong kong for the next year. I spoke about my idea about documentary for VJ and then we have agreed to film the party and meet a few days afterwards to talk more over a coffee.!

Again the next following day after recovering from the new years eve. We met in a cafe I like for many reason, there are the only place where you can smoke and sit with internet connection. Up in the Tatsuya department store in the heart of Shibuya we begin to talk about days we had been living in San Francisco and music we liked and there we know we made another connection of our geography....!!On my next trip to Tokyo for the visualux event held by Light Rhythm Visuals, Tokyo.!!Live drawing is a big phenomenon inside of Tokyo club culture and in fact the objective for these artists to perform live drawing, it is usual to see a group of two or more painting the walls inside the club setup prior to the start of the night to paint from dusk till dawn, gesture to the beats until the night end and sun rises to catch the first train home.!!Some of these night will see half a dozen of so friends and patron coming in for a drink, it can happen on a crowded night or in a less busy night of the day.!

Production Note!!We left the station behind to go into the street of a small club in Shibuya where the sound of drum n bass echo the basement of the room. No window, with black walls painted all around. The conversation continue from the top of the station and into the backroom of this metaphoric space.!Live drawing is a big phenomenon inside of Tokyo club culture and in fact the objective for these artists to perform live drawing, it is unusual to see a group of two or more painting the walls inside the club to be setup prior to the start of the night to paint from dusk till dawn, gesture to the beats until the night end and sun rises to catch the first train home.!Some of these night will see half a dozen of so friends and patron coming in for a drink, it can happen on a crowded night or in a less busy night of the day.!!Next flight. The arriving to the London. There are several weeks of touring interview in different European cities. The following week arriving in mainland Europe - Lisbon, Barcelona and Amsterdam. In this lag of passage, the stop took further to Rome and Venice which wasnʼt shown in the film. Every summer music festivals are in full swing in major European cities across the West and the East of Europe.!!The passage at the Primevara Sound in Barcelona sea front create a event of 30,000 to 40,000 audience and music lovers for the summer. During this time of the year there is also Sonar Festival following Primavera Sound. Visual artists as well as of course the musician are touring across the continent, taking in as much sun and alcohol into the festive system.

Many VJ coming from across the country of Spain, and visual have gained the demand from promotors and organizers, and here in Barcelona, the visual scene are very active with the support of large scale event organizersʼ.!!Every airport in London are different. Too many or too big. To fly back and forth between London and European cities, one finds them to be landing in the most utmost strange landscape.!The weather is always the most unpredictable thing, the sun is never lasting long and I see where I am mostly underground in most, drawing a parallelism with Tokyoʼs vision.!More time to be spending in London, the thing that is most satisfying is everyone have a bike, and when there are no strike, the tube is in fact a spectacle without the boring advertising on the station walls.!Visuals are an unknown form to most event-experimental sound and visuals are often to be found in clubs like the Shunt or large premise like the BFI and Tate Modern in the SouthBank, most are new installment in the cities, and within the last decade the exploration of experimental sound and club visuals in larger settings are going to become an important part of this spectacle. Indeed London have a scene and many collective of VJ and Visualist are located in the heart of the city, in areas like Clerkenwell or Shoreditch.!Visual events are to be found weekly. On the arrivals most flight of constance are the next destinations and for those Visualist backwards and forwards, between cities, the ideology are growing in scoop of their vision as with the online and viral presence of their performances video, website, is more visualize that more data driven search engine could possibly give you the vertical assistance for the choices of information.

Voice over:!!The lines, this collages, each layers is a separation, they separate on time. Each line following an impulse and each consist of magnitude and momentum.!Each line following an impulse and each consist of magnitude! The form is free, layers create meaning, the depth is a delusion yet nothing is causing the surface to be a flat and peaceful ideology.!To go back to time, each independent moment is identified by the volume, their distant and each object that are to be recognized.!This is the idea to know what is subject and object, they create tension. To draw shape that generate time and reveal distance but all must begin with a limit.!The shape or the limit should always be a constant, have it be the ratio to the object of representation, that should guide you to take the initial step.!Allow the lines in the drawing to prove the living movement. It can be representational or a massive banality but important is the simplicity of form.!To compose, add value and dehumanize what is on your mind let the energy occupy your soul not necessary a clear thought but it should come from your spirit!

Spatial idea was an ideology of interface from interruption in spatial transformation for information, and software are produce to function in the surface of activities for data processing. The idea are more constant with information design so complex, the software are only a surface or an interface through a communication of some sort.!The same idea are applicable to the teams of software engineers and designers with background in the visual arts and computer science, audio engineering as an example.!In principle the design of the interface, as a principle for the visualist to final their design on screen. Each performance are interchanging, like music, they have the ability to synchronic to allow design create a constant flow of interchange or exchange with the design. Accolade by design to change, the rhythm are like the illumination by the lighting arrangement in the space to create the spectacle through visual design and light.!Form to communicate.

They broke into the scene in the late ’90s through a few connections they made while designing record sleeves. Since then, they have honed their shows, exploiting technology and talent. Today their VJ setup bares little resemblance to the 16mm film projectors and slides they used at the onset of their career. ! !D-fuse is renowned for their use of cutting edge technology frequently in their installations, which examine issues such as global consumption, urban space and disused technology. D-fuse is interested in all aspects of technology, new and old. Presenting ideas and issues in new ways. They seduce the viewer by using similar processes to that of advertising but not selling anything!!!The team is known to use up to eight video and audio sources at once, spitting visuals out onto several screens. They mix the video streams in real time, fusing them with original Matthias Kispert tracks. Kispert is the de-facto D-Fuse musician and sound designer. He weaves audio into any project that needs it.!!When Kispert can’t make it, D-Fuse can still perform to a DJ spinning tracks; a live band — or even a symphony orchestra. The team was commissioned by the London Symphony Orchestra to create a choreographed video set for Steve Reich’s ‘The Desert Music’ in the early part of 2000. VJing with a symphony is certainly innovative, but it’s only the one cut on the D-Fuse LP.!

They released their first DVD, called ‘D-Tonate’, in 2004. The piece was a mélange of motion graphics, video, and still images based on

SCANNER !!Scanner - British artist Robin Rimbaud traverses the experimental terrain between sound, space, image and form, creating absorbing, multi-layered sound pieces that twist technology in unconventional ways. From his early controversial work using found mobile phone conversations, through to his focus on trawling the hidden noise of

the modern metropolis as the symbol of the place where hidden meanings and missed contacts emerge, his restless explorations of the experimental terrain have won him international admiration from amongst others, Bjork, Aphex Twin and Stockhausen. Scanner is committed to working with cutting edge practitioners and has collaborated with artists from every imaginable genre: musicians Bryan Ferry, Radiohead and Laurie Anderson, The Royal Ballet and Merce Cunningham and Random Dance companies, composers Michael Nyman and Luc Ferrari, and artists Mike Kelley, Derek Jarman, Carsten Nicolai and Douglas Gordon.Since 1991 he has been intensely active in sound art, producing concerts, compositions, installations and recordings, the albums Mass Observation (1994), Delivery (1997), and The Garden is Full of Metal (1998) hailed by critics as innovative and inspirational works of contemporary electronic music. In 2004 his Sound Surface work was the first ever Tate Modern sound-art commission, in 2006-2007 he produced Night Haunts for Artangel and recently scored the hit musical comedy Kirikou & Karaba in Paris. He has performed and created works in many of the world’s most prestigious spaces including SFMOMA USA, Hayward Gallery London, Pompidou Centre Paris, Kunsthalle Vienna, Bolshoi Theatre Moscow, Tate Modern London and the Royal Opera House London. His work has been presented throughout the United States, Asia, Australia and Europe. His work can be heard on permanent display in the Science Museum London (‘Sound Curtains’) and the Raymond Poincaré hospital in Garches France as part of the bereavement suite (‘Channel of Flight’).
